1. The service

ismiti is a personal relationship-information application that lets you store details, notes, interactions, important dates, locations and reminders about people you know. Features may change as the product develops.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your ismiti account and device secure. You must provide accurate account information and must not use another person's account without permission.

3. Your content

You remain responsible for the information you enter into ismiti. Only store information that you are lawfully permitted to keep. You retain your rights in your content; using ismiti does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

4. Privacy and backups

ismiti is designed as a local-first application. Relationship information is primarily stored on your device. If you use cloud backup, encrypted backup data and related metadata are stored by the ismiti service. Account, authentication, session and limited product-usage information may also be processed to operate and improve the service.

If you export a local backup file, you are responsible for keeping that file safe. Anyone who can access your account and the backup file may be able to restore its contents.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use ismiti to violate the law, infringe another person's rights, gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, distribute malicious code, abuse the service, or interfere with its operation.

6. Third-party services

ismiti may use or open third-party services such as Google authentication, Google Maps and Places, telephone, email, WhatsApp, web browsers and app-store services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside ismiti's control.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ismiti reliable, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

8. Backups and data loss

Backup and restore features are provided as a convenience and should not be treated as a guarantee against all data loss. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for checking that important data has been backed up successfully.

9. Disclaimers

ismiti is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a personal organization tool and is not professional, legal, financial, medical or relationship advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of ismiti will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service, loss of data, inability to access the service, or reliance on information stored in ismiti.

11. Account termination

You may stop using ismiti or delete your account through the app. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties, or where these terms are materially violated.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as ismiti changes. When changes are material, the updated terms and effective date will be made available through the app, website or another reasonable notice mechanism.
